In a very special closing program, Ronen co-founder David Bellman returns for a performance of Olivier Messiaen’s epic “Quartet for the End of Time,” written while the composer was a POW in World War II.
Balancing this canonic warhorse is a new “Quartet for the Great North American Eclipse” written for the Ensemble’s new array of musical directors by Indianapolis-based composer (and new Ronen board member) Luke Garrigus.
